OCDT ACCREDITATION, REFUND AND WITHDRAWAL POLICIES
OCDT- ACCREDITED AUTHORITY
Our advanced training certification in Coaching, Leadership, Negotiation and Business Development are credentialled through the Strategic Learning Alliance (SLA) in California which is a strategic alliance institution of the OCDT.
We wish to highlight that Coaching is a growing discipline with many emerging Associations claiming to be their own credentialing and self-regulating authority and not accountable to any higher authority. They are self-established, self-accredited, and self-regulated. They set standards and rules for coaching and identified themselves as the overseer of those rules.
Strategic Learning Alliance (SLA) on the other hand, established an evidence-based method to identify the needs of the industry based on student’s and client’s perspectives. In doing so, SLA continuously tested against the US Department of Education, the AACSB, and the Society of Human Resource Management’s standards and desired competencies. SLA spent a decade testing, measuring and demonstrating adherence to their performance needs, in addition to the expectations of students and clients to establish the independent measurements. SLA had continuously maintained that adherence for a decade before establishing their independent authority based on those standards-based efforts. In addition, SLA’s curriculum has been accredited with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) through Seattle Pacific University.
REFUND POLICY FOR CLASSES
Full refunds will be granted only when OCDT cancels a course. If a student’ course is cancelled, he/she may transfer to another course or request a refund. Refunds are not issued for cancelled courses automatically, as many students prefer to transfer. Please contact us to tell us how you would like us to proceed. If we do not hear from you, we will process a full refund of fees one month after the start of the course.
Where payment was made by Visa or MasterCard, a credit will be made to the credit card that was used.
WITHDRAWING FROM A COURSE
Students wishing to withdraw from a continuing education course need to withdraw one full business day before the second class takes place. Kindly note, that drop dates may vary depending on the course and we recommend contacting the School/Department that delivers the course for accurate information If a student is unable to attend our classes, an account credit may be offered to the student if notification to OCDT is provided a minimum of 72 hours prior to the commencement of class. This credit will be subject to a withholding of 30% of tuition fees for the administration fee. The student may also have the option to transfer to another scheduled training session at another time if notice is prior to 72 hours. Transfers may be accommodated once and may not be repeated for the same registration. If a student cannot attend the class and 72 hours’ notice cannot be given, no credit or transfer will be offered.
